How to Set IP Address in DocuPrint CM405DF Printer

DocuPrint CM405DF Printer from Fuji Xerox is Multifunction Printer (print, scan, copy, fax), that support network / LAN connection. This type connection needs an ip address (internet protocol) set inside the machine.
If you have DHCP server, after connecting to the network you can change the IP Address through internet browser on the computer. If you don't have DHCP server or you want to set manually directly from the printer, you can do through touch screen panel  at front of DocuPrint CM405DF.

How to know IP Address in Windows 10

To know IP Address (Internet Protocol Address) in Windows 10, same as previous Windows versions, we can do using two ways, first using Command line/ command prompt, and the second is through Network and Sharing center menu.

To Know IP address by command line :
1. Press the Windows Logo + R (to open the RUN command)
2. Write cmd and then click OK or press Enter.




2. The command line/command prompt will appear, type ipconfig and press enter, then the IP address will be displayed.

How to Restore Mikrotik Configuration

To restore configuration of Mikrotik router board from the backup file :
• Open Winbox
• Login to your mikrotik using Admin privilege  
• Go to Files menu
• Select the backup file. If the backup file is not in the list (other location/drive or flashdisk), you need to copy and paste the backup file to this window.

How to Backup Configuration Dell Sonicwall NSA 6600


Before you modify or change the setting for your firewall Dell Sonicwall NSA 6600, it is recommended to make a backup file of the configuration to avoid if you make a mistake so you can restore the configuration from the backup file.

To make backup file of configuration/setting of Dell Sonicwall NSA 6600 :
• Login to your Sonicwall. (you can use read only user for do this job)
• Go to System menu
• Choose Settings
• Choose Export Settings

How To Set VPN Client in Android

To connect to your office network from home or other places, you can use VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection. Most of the operating systems at this moment have capability to be used as a VPN client device.

In the Android to set VPN client,
• Go to Setting
• In the wireless and network menu, tap more
• Tap VPN



• Tap Add VPN network


• If you haven't set the pin yet, you have to create/set to be able create VPN connection


• Create pin (you must remember PIN, don't forget!)


• Tap Add VPN network again (step above) after pin created.

• Give a name for your connection.
• Choose the type of VPN, in the example I use PPTP (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol) because my VPN server/gateway of my office network usethe  PPTP.
• Write IP (internet protocol) address of VPN server.
• Tap Save, to save the configuration.


• Now at the VPN Wireless network list will have VPN connection that already created, tap on it to start VPN connection.


• Then you will be asked for username and password.

After connected, you will be able to access you office local network, run local applications, remote desktop etc.

Get Notification When IP Devices Down

If you have devices, server, cctv , etc connected to the internet using Public IP (Internet Protocol), you can monitor and get notification via SMS or email when those devices have no response, so you can determine to solve the problem quickly.

On Internet there are many providers give  notification service, one is pingdom.com
If you need this service you can register at address above. you can  choose paid or free service.
For free service the address is http://www.pingdom.com/free

Setting to Monitor ip address if no response/down :
• After registering complete, you can login and use the service
• Set Your time zone
After setting time zone, then go to Check Menu  (see figure)
